Terms of use and sale
Last updated 27 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to elmomtaz4decor.com, the website of El Momtaz Decor, a workshop and shop in Alexandria, Egypt, and to the pieces ordered through it. By browsing the site or sending the order form you accept them.
What the site is for
The site describes and prices decorative pieces — lanterns, appliqué panels, mosaic shades, trays and cushion covers — so that you can ask to buy them. It does not offer design, fitting or any service in your home.
How a sale is made
Sending the order form is a request, not a purchase. A sale exists only once we have answered by e-mail with the total and you have paid through the payment link in that e-mail. Until then, either side can step back without any charge. Prices are in US dollars and are those shown on the site on the day you send the form; the shipping charge is set out on the shipping page. Returns and refunds follow the returns and refunds page.
About the pieces
Each piece is made by hand. Small differences in pattern, stitch, glass and colour from the photographs are part of the work and are not faults. Photographs on this site show the kind of work described; where colour matters, ask for a photograph of the actual piece before paying. Lanterns and shades are sold without electrical parts; if you add a plug-in fitting, choosing it and using it safely is your responsibility. Never leave a candle burning unattended.
Fair use of the site
Please do not send false orders, try to break or overload the site, copy it wholesale, or use the form to send advertising. We may ignore or delete any message that does.
Ownership
The text, layout, drawings and icons on this site belong to El Momtaz Decor. Photographs belong to the people credited below and are used under the licences named. You may share a link to any page freely.
Limits on our responsibility
We take care that the site is accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be wrong or offline. As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you hold as a consumer that the law does not allow a shop to remove.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes go before the courts of Alexandria, unless the law of your own country gives you a right to bring them closer to home.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version that applies to an order is the one shown on the day you sent the form. Questions go to [email protected].
Every photograph on the site comes from a collection that publishes under open terms, and was re-saved at a smaller size. None requires attribution under its licence, but each is listed here with its source address.
